To configure secure form with any issue-type, user must either have Administrator access or Project Admin Access in Jira.

Configuring the form

When you will click on it, you can see the list of Secure form which is configured in this project, if you have already created one. You can see each form will be linked with one Issue-type and we cannot link two forms with same Issue-type (as of now).

Creating a form

To create New Secure form, Click on the Button of +Create and it will open the form builder along with fields toolbox. You can then link this Secure form with Issue-type and give a name and description to the form.

Then select location where you want to store the form data like Form Configuration, Form response, form related Audit logs. In form location select you will get only two option one is default where all the form related data will be stored in App level. Second option where you can select custom location but It will only work if your System administrator have added any data storage for your project.

This Secure Form builder provides multiple type of fields which you can read - https://trundlapps.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TPR/pages/1017250

All you need to do is just drag and drop the required field type in the Dropzone and you are good to go.

Once the field is added, there are three options which you can use to edit, delete or move the field

Edit
Provides the option to control each form field. It opens a side bar where you can configure label and set the respective permission to view/edit for users.

Note: If you will not set any permissions in the field By default field will be viewable & editable by everyone who have Issue Access.

Delete
This deletes button will delete the field from the form.

Drag
This drags button will help in setting position of the field in the form.

How to configure Attachment in Secure Form

In your toolbox you can use the File Attachment feature to configure attachment on the form.

You can only add attachments once in a form. The field will be visible at the end of the form, just before submission.

Click 'Attachment' option.

Once we add this option in the toolbox, in the Edit section we can see the option of folder management where we can create folders on the form. With each folder we provide security options like who can upload/download the files from the folder. with that you can control in that folder which type of file user can only Upload.

In folder permission if the user has edit permission, then only, they can upload file in that folder, if user just have view permission, then user can see and download attachment from that folder.

So, this file Attachment in form toolbox provides complete control on Form Attachment

Next tab you can see permissions tab where you can control the permission of entire Attachment field. this Permission will be on top of the Folder permissions.

Any Attachments added to the form, it will be directly uploaded on the attachment of Jira issue.
