If you have struggled to juggle Automation for Jira along with SARJ, this cool little feature will make you feel better.
By enabling Buffer zone for all Advanced rotations, you’ll be able to give that extra cushion for the incoming issues which might have some updates happening right after issue creation.
Meaning, if an issue does not meet the JQL that you have defined in the rotation, SARJ will not skip it, but keep it in the Buffer zone where it will be checked again in 30 seconds. You can view this in your Pool view as well.
Check the ‘state’ to see if the issue is ‘Buffering’ (being processed) or ‘Open’ (in pool, JQL matches but team members are not available)
If any automation rule you had set up makes a change in the ticket which makes it fit the JQL, SARJ will run its scheduler and auto-assign the issue and remove the entry from pool view.
