To configure secure form with Any issue-type user must have Administrator access or Project Admin Access in Jira.

How to configure Secure Form with Any issue

As a project Administrator or Site Administrator you need to open project Setting in that you can see the option of Secure form when you will click on that You can see the list of Secure form which is configured in this project. Here you can see Each form will be linked with One Issue-type and We cannot link two forms with Same Issue-type.

To create New Secure form, Click on the Button of +CREATE It will open another page where you can see form Builder along with fields toolbox. Also, there is an option to link this Secure form with Issue-type along with this we Can give some name and description to the form.

This Secure Form builder provides multiple type of fields support like Header text, Label, Paragraph, Date, Line Break, Dropdown, Tags, Checkboxes, Rating, Multiple choices, Text, number & multi line input, Radio Type, select field and File Attachment etc.

Using this many fields type in a single form makes the form simpler and easy to understand.

once the field is added now in each form field these three options like Edit, Delete & Drag will be available.

Now let's understand these 3 options in detail.

Edit

This Edit button provides the option to control each form field. When we click on edit button it will open a side bar where we can see option to configure label for the Fields and Permission option where we can configure Read/write permission to the user/Group/Project Role level.

Delete

This delete button will delete the field from the form.

Drag

This drags button will help in setting position of the field in the form.

How to configure Attachment in Secure Form

In Form Toolbox File Attachment feature helps to configure attachment on the form.

Once we add this option in the toolbox, in the Edit section we can see the option of folder management where we can create folders on the form with this Each folder provides security options like Who can upload/download the files from the folder, Also It help you to apply restriction on file type on each folder like in Folder A only pdf file type are allowed. So this file Attachment in form toolbox provides complete control on Form Attachment

This file Attachment in form toolbox also provides one more option where it will confirm from the project/Site Administrator where they want to store the form Attachment.

It provides two options in the Storage Configuration

Use Jira Attachment

When we use this Jira Attachment option it will upload all the form Attachment in the Jira issue Attachment section.

Use Custom Location

This option is the most used feature in Secure form where user can select where they want to upload the form Attachment. It provides option of AWS, Azure, Goggle Cloud for storage. Based on selected option it will configuration option (for more details about custom location check the attached screenshots)
