For HonchoSARJ, security is as much a priority as smart - scheduling.
To preserve stringent standards of decision making, we recommend you only add the Project Manager(s) or Jira Admin(s) as Honcho users, so as to allow access to create and edit schedules we recommend Site admins to add users in SARJ for specific projects and allow them the access to specific projects.

As an a site administrator, you can follow the steps mentioned below to give any user access to Honchoa SARJ admin.

Please note - Being a Jira Site Administrator does not automatically grant you access to HonchoSARJ. However, as an admin, you can add yourself as a Honcho user.SARJ user by following below steps -

  • Click on ‘Manage your apps’ in Apps Menu

  • Scroll down to the bottom left to find the Honcho SARJ Configuration section

  • Click on ‘User Access Management’ (the only configuration item)

In the ‘User’ field, type the name(s) of the user(s) you want to grant access to

  • Select the appropriate projects (Note: Even if a user is mistakenly granted access, they will not be able to access Honcho SARJ for a project if they do not have the access to that project, i.e., All Jira permissions will take priority over SARJ permissions.)

  • Enable Pool Dashboard view and the Audit Log view, if needed

  • Click ‘Save’
